Minimal discriminant of an elliptic curve

The discriminant Δ\Delta of an elliptic curve EE defined over Q\mathbb{Q} is a nonzero integer divisible exactly by the primes of bad reduction. It is the discriminant of the minimal Weierstrass equation of the curve.
